My New Year 2022 Skin Resolution

My New Year 2022 “Skin Resolution”!
What is yours?


It seems the cold & the rain have refused to give way to a warmer weather.

While sipping a cup of hot coffee, I tried smiling, and realized, the area around my lips is feeling a bit stretched!! I looked at my hands holding the cup…

Lo! the hands look dry & dehydrated!!

I made my “New Year 2022 – Skin Resolution”- a few simple steps to get into the “Wellness System”:


1. Hydrate your self

“Hydration “ is the process of absorbing water from the environment and trapping it in the skin cells.

30% of the Epidermis (upper layer of the skin) is made of water.

As the humidity is less in the air, so the skin needs hydrating products to keep itself soft, plump and infection free. (Yes you are reading it correct- hydration helps to keep the skin infection free- we will discuss in detail about in in our next blog )

 

2.Moisturize well

“Moisturization” is the process of holding on to the water in the skin during hydration and holding on to it, forming a protective barrier. Moisturize your skin well with a good & pure oil, to protect it and keep it soft & radiant.


3. Drink enough water

70% of our body is water. You should drink enough water to keep it hydrated – inside out. Drink as many litres, as half your body weight, divided by 10. For 62 kgs its 3.1 litres. This will keep the cells active and plump!


4. The “Wellness System” as part of your Skin Care

Ayurveda looks at our body holistically and is strict on regime. Follow the “Wellness System” of:

  • Washing & Cleansing regime, TWICE DAILY for five days a week for cleansing & hydrating & nourishing
  • Moisturizing well after cleansing for softening, nourishing & protective barrier
  • Deep cleansing with a scrub followed by pack, twice weekly, for REBUILDING & REJUVENAION.
  • LAUGH & SMILE everyday, the are the best FACIAL YOGA

5. Take the “Beauty Sleep”

The body needs time to REBUILD & RECOVER. So “ Sleep Well” and let nature take care


6. Sun Bathing

Let the SUN BATHE you for 20 minutes, everyday and keep you strong and healthy. Just enjoy the rendezvous with “Him”, on a daily basis. Vitamin D produced will keep you strong, protected and improve the overall body’s immunity.
